Accessibility statement
Last updated 18 September 2026
We want everyone to be able to read this site and reach us, whatever device, input method, or assistive technology they use. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not yet been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have done
- Motion. The site uses a lot of animation. If your system asks for reduced motion, all of it is switched off: no smooth scrolling, no pinned or sideways-scrolling sections, no moving background, no rotating or typing text. The content is identical.
- Keyboard. Every link, button, and form field can be reached and used with the keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a clearly visible focus ring. A “skip to content” link is the first stop on every page.
- Contrast and size. Body and secondary text meet at least 4.5:1 contrast against their background, and no text is smaller than 11px.
- Structure. Pages use one main heading, a consistent heading order, and landmark regions. Decorative graphics, the animated background, and the large moving type are hidden from screen readers. Diagrams that carry meaning have text descriptions, and their explanation is also written out in full beside them.
- Forms. Fields have visible labels and use the browser’s own validation messages. When you send the form, the result (sent, or what went wrong) is announced and receives focus. The email address is always shown as a plain link beside the form, which works even if scripts are blocked.
- Small screens and zoom. Layouts reflow to a single column with no horizontal scrolling, and the scroll-driven diagram becomes a plain sequence of steps on phones and tablets.
Known limitations
- On large screens with motion enabled, two sections hold the page in place while you scroll through them. They can be scrolled past normally but cannot be skipped with a single action.
- The animated background is decorative, but people sensitive to moving patterns may find it distracting. Turning on reduced motion in your operating system freezes it.
- The contact form needs JavaScript. If scripts are blocked, use the email address shown beside the form instead.
- We have tested with keyboard navigation and automated checks, but not yet with a full range of screen readers.
